it was a great experience and without your organization (Sharyem Tours Ethiopia) it would not be possible. Thanks for your helpfulness, professionalism and for the passion that you put in your work. I hope to see you again.

"Working with Mr. Yemane was a true pleasure. He is extremely kind, courteous, knowledgeable and looked after our welfare at all times. He helped out tremendously on our video production and it is now my pleasure to call him a friend." Michael King-Director of Photography, TAKE US HOME
"Sharyem organized the trip I made in February 2007 to the south of Ethiopia – it was everything I could have hoped for from a journey to see peoples living in many ways untouched by the modern world."
"I have no hesitation in recommending Sharyem and will use them again as soon as I can return to Ethiopia. Until then I will have to rely on my photos and memories of an amazing trip. The highlights? Difficult – the assurance of the Mursi, a Hamer village for the evening dance, sunset over the lake at Awasa and many more!"
"An acquaintance in Switzerland recommended Sharyem Tours to travel around Ethiopia with. We know now that we made the best choice because we had a really wonderful experience. Yemane knows his country exceptionally well, gave good advice, showed us more than we expected and always made sure we had the best opportunities to take in the culture and landscapes. We would strongly recommend Sharyem Tours if you want to be sure of having the most wonderful trip of your life in Ethiopia." Graziella and Angelo, Switzerland Marine and Madeline, France
"Travelling overland by jeep is by far the best way to see Ethiopia, and we had a fantastic trip with Sharyem tours. From the moment our driver met us in Addis, we were well looked after and quickly became friends. Taking a car meant that we had the freedom stop where and when we liked, and enjoy the spectacular scenery and chance encounters of our route North, to Lalibela and the Simien Mountains. Given that we only had 3 weeks in the country, and lots we wanted to see, this was the best option: quicker and more flexible than the bus, but much more immersive (and eco-friendly) than flying."
"My confidence in the way Sharyem organised my trip was always fully justified – it just happened with assurance and whatever flexibility I wanted. Yemane had an endless list of exciting things to see or do, whether visiting a Dorze family house or enjoying the hot springs at Sodere to relax in at the end."
Geographically Ethiopia is stunning. The landscape is dominated by the dramatic Ethiopian Highlands with peaks of 4000m or higher. The country is bisected by the Rift Valley, which starts at the Red Sea, to the North East, and continues south to Mozambique in southern Africa.
